HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR

Today's Chinese New Year Eve. Gotta be a busy day.

Waited for mama to come back from her work, when I thought we're ready to leave after she showered but NO!
Its gotta be her finishing her sweeping, mopping, washing the clothes and cleaning TWO washrooms. It was almost 3pm when we reached ah ma's house.

Darling called home at around 4pm and got to know that his mum is DONE with the cookings and OBVIOUSLY we or rather, I don't want to keep his family waiting so we left for his place for dinner FIRST!

不说还好...
When we were there, his dad is not home yet, his mum is still busy preparing those whatever that SHOULD HAVE BEEN PREPARED EARLIER!!!
Wait, waited and still waiting...

I should be having fun and laughing away while crowding around the 2 hot steamboats with my family, throwing in my favourite foods that ah ma bought specially for me, and complaining at how my makeup are so ruined due to perspiration. Instead, here I'm still in darling's room watching tv while waiting.

Its almost 6pm.

I couldnt stand anymore that I walked out of the room to the kitchen to see whats darling doing and there, I kena caught by the mum.

'Chris, 你很有空吗?'

*&^%%$##) WTF?!
Frankily speaking, I don't mind helping since I've NOTHING TO DO but, these things could've been done day or even DAYS earlier when all she does, is lying on the bed 80% of the time watching tv! You know what I mean?

So bobian, I helped her with abit and quickly SIAM back into the room and continue watching tv instead.

It was almost 8pm when the dad came back and us finally starting the dinner.

Alright, all gonna be COLD FOOD AGAIN if I didnt ask darling to reheat them, and a table full of foods when there are only 5 of us eating and for whatever the reason is, the brother seems to be just having his high tea kinda portion.

Make it this way, if I were to take a picture of the foods before and after dinner, there'll be NO difference, you know what I'm saying?

I can't stand staying a minute longer after the dinner that we left after his parents gave us ang bao.
Not being rude, but I'm really SO LATE for ah ma's side and as expected, I missed out the once-a-year game that our families would prepare for us to get extra ang baos.

Thanks god ah ma played on behalf of me and got a $50 extra for me!!!

Then its time for poker!
So much fun and laughters throughout that we didnt want to stop if not for my 2nd uncle, who fell asleep at the sofa that we decided to call it a day.

Anyway, I won only $4 or so.
Last but not least, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!
