Backpacking Day1 - Changi Airport
Today is my first day of backpacking, in Singapore. I know what you're thinking.
My family and friends were like 'SIAO ah, BOLIAO ah' or they just go 'HAHAHA'...
Seriously, I'm not at all offended but think again, laugh at me only when you can proudly tell anyone on the street, that you know Singapore like the back of your hand, or you've been to every single corner of Singapore! Please also be reminded that some people even pay for a tour in Singapore?
Anyway, nevermind about that...
Let me share with you my FIRST day...
This marks the start of my backpacking!
I started off my first day from our very pride, Singapore Changi Airport.
Reached my final destination in 1.5hrs! Singapore is really BIG... *Almost everyone is checking on their flight information so I joined in! Hahaha... Stare stare, stare together la!!! I'm Singaporean ma, KPO!
Don't know the way? Follow the signboards... *Thats how Singaporeans survive..
The first thought: WOW!!!! *I'm here, I'm here! Call me an idiot!
I'm supposed to be on one of them... *Its okay, I'm just as excited to see them from the viewing mall.
I'm so proud to be a Singaporean just by having such a beautiful airport... *Honestly, when's the last time you ever been to the airport???
According to the brochure I got in the airport, there's supposed to be a Mac somewhere... 3 of them to be exact!
Spending almost an hour and I finally found it.
*Moral of the story: Don't be stubborn, just go to one of the information counter will solve your problem... Most importantly, you wont starve yourself!!??!!
Meet Ronald MacDonald @ Changi Airport! *You can't imagine how touched I was to see him after almost an hour of search with me physically exhausted and 'near to starvation'...
The foods never tasted THIS GOOD! *I was really hungry then...
Crowds start to gather as the night turns dark... *Just like Orchard, never a moment of emptiness..
I would have ended up like her if not for my hp and iPod are both running low batt.. *I would definitely try it sometime...
Alright, its 9.30pm, time to go home...
This will never happen at any other time of the day, esp morning... *I like this...
Review of the day;
On my way there, while on the MRT as I passed Expo, I was like 'Just a day before, coming to expo was a crazy idea and today, I'm here!' Things are really unpredictable man. Don't be too sure of yourself.
As the train gets closer to the airport, temperature seems to be decreasing tremendously.
From what I remember, the air conditioner in the airport is like 'NO need $$$ & NO government'.
At the viewing mall, I see aeroplanes come and go, just like the people around us.
Sounds depressing? Think again.
No matter where the planes/people go, they'll still come back to where they belong.
Everyone knows that the airport is really nice at night. Lights all over the place.
Liked our lives, no matter how dark they are, we just have to follow the lights...
Today, I really had the time of my life.
A journey of silence - just musics and freedom;
No talking and crapping. Just enjoy and relax.
Home safe and sound... *Phew... What a day!
Last word...
