What's Your Nick?

[ He used to call me ' Sweetie Pie '.
When we got married, he calls me ' Darling '.
After I gave birth to John, my name is ' Mummy '.
And now, he calls me ' Ooi '. ]

- Commercial recently heard on Radio station Class 95.

I've to admit that recently, commercials are getting 'closer' to us in the sense that they start to come up with stuffs that really happen in our daily lives as their ideas. This reminds me of how couples address each other.

Did you realise that couples often don't call each other by their names and instead, they gave each other nicks like ' Sweetie Pie ', dear dear kinda...

I remember when I get to know Stam, since its alway 2 persons on a date, we seldom call each other's name. After we became an item, 宝贝 replaced his name and 亲爱的 became mine. Sounds ok? That was merely the beginning.

As time passes, my name starts to change from 亲爱的 slowly to 小猪. I'm still rather okay with it as the nick sounds abit cartoon to me and indeed, it adds on a little to our relationship. Anyway, good things just don't last. And so, ONE FINE EVENING, from the CUTE 小猪, it became 肥的 ( In Hokkien ). *Faints...

*oink oink...

P/S: I'm very determined in going clubbing tonight, anyone wants to join me? Its to celebrate I passed my Basic Theory Test and Riding Theory Evaluation! Woohoo... This shows that when you're given books to read on, you jolly well open those bloody books and READ them!!!
